Celebrating the diverse and thriving creativity of Leeds, Light Night Leeds is once again bringing some of the city’s most recognisable indoor and outdoor spaces alive. The annual free arts and light festival will take place on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th October from 6 – 11pm, playing host to mesmerising artworks and captivating performances by local, national and international artists across ten zones in the city centre.
Enter a world of fantasy and be in awe of spectacular projections, interactive artworks, music, dance and street performances. Marking 100 years of social change since some women had the right to vote, The Leeds Library will put suffragettes Leonora Cohen & Mary Gawthorpe, in the spotlight to honour their courage and determination.
Be sure to purchase an official FESTIVAL GUIDE for just £2 to help keep the annual event free. Not only do all proceeds from the sales go towards the event, it also helps you to get the most out of the night, featuring full colour maps and information about every exhibition.
