Want to help your lovely local magazine in 2017? We have lots of ways you can get involved in the next issue.
In this week’s blog for Leeds and Manchester:
- A big thank you
- Chanukah pleas
- Significant proposals
Firstly, everyone at JLife HQ would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has given such wonderful feedback for our 10th anniversary edition of JLife Leeds. We have received so many glowing compliments from across the community and beyond that our heads barely fit through the door! We’re very proud of the December/ January issue and a particular highlight is the collection of warm thoughts from contributors, readers and advertisers. The past 10 years wouldn’t have been possible without you all. See if you can spot your comments here and to see a digital version of the December/ January issue in all its glory, take a peek here.
And to our readers in Manchester, we’ve not forgotten you! We’re currently working away on the next issue now and it should be out early January (more on what to look forward to reading in your January/ February issue soon!). In the meantime, you have plenty to enjoy in your November/ December issue, from winter home style and party inspiration to make your celebration sparkle, to interviews with West End stars. Plus, don’t miss the exciting competitions where you could win annual passes to either LEGOLAND Discovery Centre or SEA LIFE Manchester or a spa break for two at The Ainscow Hotel. Read all here.
After the Event
Chanukah is just around the corner and if you’re hosting any special events to mark the festival, we want to hear from you. If so, email evangeline@nutsforprint.co.uk with all of your photos, plus some details about what you got up to, and look out for them in the next edition of JLife Leeds and Manchester.
All You Need is Love…and JLife
It’s that time of year again. Couples can be seen wandering hand-in-hand and romance is in the air. That’s right: we’re working on our wedding special and we’d love to get your engagement proposal stories. Was it during a romantic stroll around Manchester Art Gallery? Did they get down on one knee at Kirkstall Abbey? Or was it further afield? We’d love to find out where, when and how it happened. If you’d like to share your proposal story with JLife readers, email laura@nutsforprint.co.uk.
