Full Of Hops
Head into the city centre for Manchester’s Beer and Cider Festival (24th – 26th January) and partake in the Tryanuary campaign, whetting your whistle with over 750 different drinks to choose from. Playing host to 24 bars brimming with British ales, international beers, alcohol free beer, fruit wines, gin and much more, the festival opens its arms to all. Traditional pub games and street food vendors will also be in the midst of all the fun!
See Androids Fighting Brad And Janet
As the panto season winds up for another year, Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza, The Rocky Horror Show, returns to Manchester Opera House with just as much entertainment, music and laughter. Featuring timeless classics including Sweet Transvestite, Damn it Janet, and Time Warp, the three-week run until 26th January will blast away any January blues.
Hour of Horror
The highlight of the domestic track calendar, The HSBC UK National Track Championships, returns to Manchester 25th – 27th January. With the iconic red, white and blue jerseys at stake, Britain’s most talent riders compete at the HSBC UK National Cycling Centre for the honour of being crowned national champion.
Back For Good
Watch the world come alive tonight at Manchester Opera House to witness the toe-tapping production of The Band. Written by award winning writer Tim Firth, the new musical is jam-packed with favourites from Britain’s famous boy band, Take That, including Greatest Day, Relight My Fire and Rule The World. Showings are available daily until Manchester until 26th January.
