Inspired by the homemade creativity of an era long gone by, Rachel Riley created her clothing brand in 1998 to channel a lifelong passion for the glamourous style and classic designs across the 1950s and 60s. Setting up a workshop in the attic of her Loire Valley home, the fashion designer crafted her first collection of charming children’s clothes using luxury fabrics set at the right price.
Beginning with a mail order catalogue she sent out to all her friends, Rachel’s first collections were modelled and photographed by her husband.
Now dressing children for over 25 years, the company has flourished from its humble family-based roots to a globally recognised brand, with collections available for girls and boys from one month to 14 years old. Made with love, care, and attention, the classic style of luxury clothing continues to use traditional crafting techniques, including smocking and hand embroidery, while printing designs onto fine fabric in happy colours to instil fun and joy.
