Struggling for Father’s Day inspiration? Think outside the box with JLife’s round-up of unique dad-appropriate expeditions across the Leeds area.

The Driving Force

Don’t stray too far from the North Leeds suburb this Father’s Day by taking dad to the Yorkshire Post Father’s Day Classic Car & Motor Show at Harewood House on 21st June.

From 10am, car fanatics can admire hundreds of vintage and classic cars. On the day there’ll be a full arena programme showcasing all the vehicles – with entertainment for all the family throughout the day – and prizes will be given out at the end of the day for best in class.

The arena’s headline act for this year is Nigel Morris with BIGFOOT® #17 monster truck which featured on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway!

Who knows, dad could pick up all the extra knowledge he needs to replace Top Gear’s prime presenter Jeremy Clarkson?!

Visit Harewood.org.

Sweet Treat

For dads who have a sweet tooth, nothing can be better than the gift of chocolate.

Step beyond the usual box of confectionary to treat him to a Chocolate Tasting Adventure at Hotel Chocolat on Boar Lane where – over two delicious hours – he will gain delicious insider knowledge and tasting tips for his future chocolate indulgences.
