DIG OUT YOUR DANCING SHOES
Grab your finest glad rags and ring in the New Year with a touch of class at Oulton Hall’s black tie gala ball. Indulge in canapés and a glass of champagne on arrival followed by a lavish four-course meal in the luxurious surroundings of the grand 18th century mansion.

Slow braised beef shin with madeira jus and a spiced feta and chickpea parcel are on the cards for mains, while a Valrhona chocolate and brandy torte or black cherry iced parfait may just be the best desserts you’ll eat all year. Soak up the party atmosphere with a live performance from The Jersey Boys tribute act, The Seasons, followed by a chance to two-step your way into 2019.

Tickets start from £99.

BRING ON VEGANUARY
Fast food vegan pop-up, Knave’s Kitchen teams up with Oporto for a vegan spectacular at Call Lane’s original dive bar. Renowned for getting down and dirty with vegan junk food, Knaves is serving up a three-course menu of guilty pleasures with a conscience. Expect treats from its Christmas menu including roast Moroccan butternut squash and pistachio burgers and wild mushroom wellingtons. Vegan bubbly will be flowing while you enjoy the usual Oporto fun with top DJs spinning classic cheese (suitable for vegans) all through the night.

Tickets cost £29.99.

A NIGHT OUT WITH THE KIDS
It’s rare to find an event the whole family can enjoy, so it’s no wonder the New Year’s Eve dinner and disco at the Village Hotel Leeds North always proves a big hit. Enjoy a three-course dinner in the Verve Grill guaranteed to please the whole family. With a fully-stocked bar and disco until the early hours, you can let your hair down with a celebratory drink or three while the kids kick up their heels on the dancefloor.

Tickets cost £40 per adult. £20 per child.

NEXT STOP, 2019!
Wetherby’s The Engine Shed is chugging its merry way into 2019 with its annual New Year’s Eve extravaganza. Jump aboard the party train and blow off some steam on the dancefloor with its resident DJ spinning classic tunes all night long. Fancy dress is encouraged, with the best dressed bagging themselves a bottle of prosecco for their efforts. Your ticket also includes a hot snack to keep your fire burning all the way into the New Year.

Tickets cost £20.

EAT YOUR WAY TO 2019
It’s your last chance for some festive indulgence before the New Year health drive, so why not go out with a bang? Downtown at The Light, Browns is hosting a Great Gatsby-inspired evening of 1920s extravagance with its prohibition themed party. Enjoy live jazz and piano performances in its stylish Art Deco-inspired dining room while you kickstart the evening with canapes and a classic Bellini, followed by a five course meal. On the menu is roast rack of lamb with redcurrant jus and fillet of sea bass with champagne sauce, while desserts range from black cherry and amaretto tart tatin to prosecco fruit crumble with ginger ice cream. What better way to see out the 2018 than with a classic British cheese board and a good old sing along to Auld Lang Syne!

Tickets cost £39.95.
