Leeds Day Limmud recently took place.
Topics such as discrimination towards Ethiopian Jews in Israel and how Jewish humour helped Jewish survival were just two of 50 lectures up for discussion at Leeds Day Limmud at Weetwood Hall.
The wide-ranged study sessions on offer to the 300 visitors were described by Limmud co-Chair Linda Rosen as “one of the best programmes ever.”
Speakers included Jonathan Arkush, Jon Silverman, Clarissa Hyman, Dina Brawer and Clive Lawton.
A message sent by Limmud Chair Kevin Sefton noted: “A community grows through its people and people grow through their community.
“The effect and impact of Limmud is because of those who give up all their time as volunteers and presenters.”
