The Big Birthday Appeal recently hosted its annual fashion show.
The Big Birthday Appeal’s third annual fashion show has raised over £4,500 to help fund a holiday for local Jewish children with special needs, which will be organised by The FED’s Project Smile.
The event, recently hosted at the Village Hotel and Resort, was compered by journalist and broadcaster, Angela Epstein, and saw young people aged four to 11 take to the catwalk to model casual and occasionwear designs from Button Nose in Bramhall and Loofe’s in Bury. It also featured a special performance from local dance troupe, JSTAR, while Big Birthday’s teenage supporters pitched in by helping to dress the models behind-the-scenes.
Jo Brown, who organised the event together with fellow Big Birthday member, Shelley Kersh, commented: “The feedback from everyone who attended has been fantastic. Our young models were adorable and absolutely loved working the catwalk.”
