LJWB has made changes to the Board of Trustees. John Fisher reports.
Following an external review of its lay-leadership structure LJWB has made changes to the Board of Trustees.
Addressing the LJWB’s annual general meeting president Edward Ziff said adjustments have been on the agenda for many years and one of the items was a reduction in the number of trustees.
Currently the board has 14 trustees but due to changes and resignations the number will stand at nine.
Edward bade farewell to “some valuable colleagues,” including James Denton who had made huge successes in the fundraising arena.
Although he is stepping down as treasurer, Martin Lee will remain working for the board. Holding the position throughout his presidency, Edward observed: “At a time of financial stress I have appreciated Martin’s care, attention to detail and devotion to the cause.”
