The Leeds branch of Nisa-Nashim, the Jewish Muslim Network is hosting a picnic in the park at the bandstand in Roundhay Park this Sunday (31st July).
Jewish and Muslim women and their children are welcome, and feel free to bring and share vegetarian food. This is another opportunity for Leeds Jewish and Muslim women to chat and get to know each other while also discussing future events.
Nisa-Nashim’s mission is to bring communities together and promote ways in which Jewish and Muslim women can understand that their similarities are greater than their differences. Through a range of shared initiatives, the group hopes to encourage meaningful personal relationships, while also benefiting the wider society in which they live.
