£7,500 raised from the recent Intra Communal Football Tournament was shared between the Homeless Street Angels and Brodetsky Primary School in a recent cheque presentation.

The Homeless Street Angels charity was set up by Shelley, Becky and Abi Joyce in 2017 to provide hot food, clean clothes and toiletries for the homeless of Leeds. Abi passed away in August 2017 and the charity dreams of opening a day centre in her memory.

Becky said: “It’s one step closer to Abi House and the money will help benefit the people we are managing to re-house as we usually have to start from scratch to make their properties into homes.”

Abi’s daughter and Brodetsky Primary School student, Autumn attended the cheque presentation. The money donated to Abi’s school will provide vital resources for her fellow pupils to enhance their extracurricular experience in the memory of her late mother.
