In the month that has been dubbed ‘Wills Month’ (October) by the legal industry, Leeds-based law firm, Winston Solicitors, has announced its support for Age UK Leeds.
Offering a series of pop-up ‘Will Clinics’ at Age UK, Wills, Trusts and Probate Solicitors Tom Rodgers and Wendy Scarr from Winston Solicitors, are offering free and trusted advice to associates of the charity.
Hosted at Age UK Leeds once a month for the remainder of 2015 and into 2016, the duo cover all aspects of Wills and Probate, offering free, no obligation guidance and advice on how best to plan and manage assets. 10 per cent of all work completed for Age UK Leeds clients’ will be donated back to Age UK.
In addition, Winston Solicitors is one of a handful of Leeds law firms participating in the St Gemma’s Hospice ‘Make a Will Month’ campaign.
Speaking on behalf of Age UK, Heather O’Donnell said: “The “Wills Clinic” that Winston Solicitors has provided at Age UK Leeds has benefitted many of our older clients. We are delighted that the firm will now donate 10 per cent of the fees to Age UK Leeds. Donations like this enable us to provide valuable services for older people in Leeds, like our free information and Advice Services.”
