Manchester Day Limmud returns on 4th February.
Limmud, the international charitable organisation which creates events for Jewish learning is returning to Manchester on 4th February for its annual Day Limmund at William Hulme’s Grammar School in Whalley Range.
Led and run by volunteers, Limmud promotes and welcomes all ages, and all religious affiliations from across the world to promote cross-communal Jewish learning. This year the Manchester Day Limmud will welcome over 60 presenters from London and beyond, discussing topics ranging from Torah study, comedy, history, business, Israel, music, film, politics, the Jewish community, medicine and trees. Presenters this year include Mark Adlestone, Robyn Ashworth-Steen, Chanan Atlas, Marilyn Berg, Jonathan Davies, Clive Lawton, Helena Miller, Joshua Rozenberg, Lindsey Taylor-Guthartz, Leslie Turnberg, Yael Unterman, Jonathan Wittenberg and Rafi Zarum, with more to be announced in the run up to the event. Mark Lewis, the media lawyer and subject of the recent Channel 4 documentary, ‘The Search for a Miracle Cure’, will also be one of the guest presenters on the day.
The yearly extravaganza is also family friendly, with a children’s programme ran by experienced youth leaders, and a crèche overseen by qualified nursery staff throughout the day.
For those in the know, if you book your place at the Manchester Day Limmud before 8th January 2018, you can secure a day place for an exclusive early-bird price of £35 for adults rather than £40. Children under 17 are admitted for £15 before 8th January or £20 when booked after that date.
If you have any questions about the event or to book your place, call the Limmud office on 0203 115 1620, or email manchester@limmud.org.
