Hale-based lawyer, Daniella Sultan, has been appointed as new chair of Manchester Day Limmud.
Manchester Day Limmud 2016 will be held on 7th February at the William Hulme Grammar School campus in Whalley Range. It will offer a packed programme of Jewish learning, discussion, entertainment, comedy and workshops for students, singles, seniors and families.
The 40-year-old lawyer from Hale has taken over the role from previous chairs, Rebecca Lewis and Cathy Knowles.
Daniella said: “I’m really excited to be taking on what is already a fantastically successful day. Last year, I was simply one of 600 attendees who loved the event. This year, I’m honoured to be chairing it.
“The cross-section of people attending Limmud makes it a unique event in the Jewish calendar. Last year, the age span was six months to 95 years old! It’s a brilliant family day – my girls had to be dragged away from the crèche last year. We’re hoping to welcome more families than ever through the doors.”
