An exciting job opportunity to work with young Jewish people in Manchester has become available.
Menorah Synagogue is a vibrant, modern Reform Jewish community based in south Manchester and is currently on the lookout for a special person to inspire its growing number of young people.
One-third of your time will be working for Reform Judaism, inspiring and supporting youth provision within its northern communities while working closely with RSY-Netzer, the Zionist youth movement for Reform Judaism. The successful candidate will promote commitment to progressive Judaism and active involvement in the community through a stimulating programme of activities aimed at all age ranges and interests
You will be highly energetic with excellent personal motivation, experience in Jewish youth work, sound knowledge of progressive Jewish values and be able to develop and maintain strong relationships. This is a permanent full-time role, with a salary £23-25k that will require regular weekend and festival work along with a good deal of travel, as well as investment in your on-going professional development.
