A Tribute Night with The Stars, a musical extravaganza featuring tribute acts, choirs and ballroom dancers, will take place at the Longfield Suite on 17th May.
Ariana Grande, ABBA and Elvis Presley all on one stage? Not quite, but close enough. A night of song, dance and comedy will take place in Prestwich to raise money for two Manchester charities.
Music fans will be treated to a star-studded night with a bill featuring top professional tribute acts including impersonations of Neil Diamond, Elvis, ABBA, Tom Jones, The Blues Brothers, and Ariana Grande. The evening of entertainment will also feature junior world champion ballroom dancers, as well as a surprise special guest appearance during the event. Furthermore, Maxine and Brian Warner will be performing a musical tribute including songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, The Sound of Music. The duo will perform alongside the KD and BW children’s choirs, as well as the Jewish Theatre Company choir.
The range of tribute acts, singing contemporary pop music to blues and classic hits, means there should be something to suit all tastes, and host and compere for the evening is Irish comedian, Jimmy Cricket. Tickets are priced at £15 and all proceeds will go The Christie hospital and the Tomas Leighton Care charity.
