FIREWORKS
Albert Square
Manchester City Council invites revellers to a family-friendly, alcohol-free countdown to 2018 with an incredible fireworks display at Albert Square. Last year, thousands of people braved the cold to see in the New Year and this year’s celebration is set to be the biggest yet. The event will be held in the shadow of the iconic Manchester Town Hall with a big screen showing the all-important countdown to midnight before a breath-taking array of pyrotechnics is released from the roof.
