The Hollywood legend and renowned martial artist, Jean Claude Van Damme, is heading to Manchester for a world exclusive black tie dinner event.
The one-off event, An Experience with…JCVD, is taking place on Saturday 21ST November at Event City in Manchester, with ticket prices starting from just £50.
It is being organised by leading events company, Olexy Productions who have hosted similar sell-out dinners with iconic superstars, Al Pacino and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The event will include a revealing Q&A with the star as he regales anecdotes of his illustrious film and martial arts career. This is the first time Van Damme will host an intimate dinner of this kind anywhere in the world.
Die-hard fans are also being given the opportunity to meet their idol, with ‘meet and greet’ and ‘photo opportunity’ ticket upgrades also available.
Van Damme is best known for his starring roles in top Hollywood action films Kickboxer, Universal Soldier and Double Impact. Also one of the world’s leading martial artists, he is said to have inspired the iconic computer game, Mortal Kombat.
Although often referred to as the ‘muscles from Brussels’, Van Damme is also an acclaimed actor and his performance in 2008’s JVCDwas named the best performance of the year after Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker.
Most recently, he starred in the iconic Volvo Trucks advert that saw Van Damme perform the most ‘epic of splits’ on two reversing trucks. The advert quickly went viral, receiving an astounding 11m views in the first three days it was released and 35m in the first week.
Several different tickets are available, starting from £50 (exc dinner) or £100 (inc three course dinner), with ticket prices going up to £1000 for a platinum ticket.
