Menorah Synagogue has made an exciting new announcement.
Menorah Synagogue has announced the appointment of Rabbi Fabian Sborovsky, with the position having been empty since Rabbi Haim Shalom returned to Israel last August.
Rabbi Fabian, aged 46, is a graduate of the Abraham Geiger College of the University of Potsdam where he received his semicha and was duly ordained in 2014. Born in Paraguay, his move to Israel was followed by years of travel in which he perfected a number of languages including English and Swedish.
Howard Barlow, Menorah’s chair, said: “Rabbi Fabian’s learning, erudition and engaging personality will enhance not only our congregation but will bring enormous benefit to the Manchester Jewish community.”
