In the Channel 4 sitcom, the Goodmans, a Jewish family in London, indulge in humorous exchanges as they gather every Friday evening for their ritual meal. One of the sons – Adam – is played by Simon Bird, widely recognised for his main role in the hugely acclaimed The Inbetweeners.
