El Al’s new service between Manchester airport and Ben Gurion airport will offer nonstop flights, scheduled to run three times a week from May 26th. At the World Travel Market trade show in London, Michael Strassburger, El Al Israel Airlines Vice President Commercial and Industry Affairs, announced that the 3 weekly services will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Bookings before November 26th have introductory fares starting from £199. All flights include a full meal service and for an additional cost, Wi-Fi can be purchased on board.
Strassburger anticipates that the new route will be a raging success, transporting thousands of passengers to and from Israel : “Manchester has a large Jewish community and is a centre of business and tourism”.
