Bundobust | Oxford Road
This locally beloved vegan hotspot serves a great Indian street food-style meal. So good it’ll make you forget it’s vegan, Bundobust has been on many a ‘try before you die’ list in the press with its spicy okra fries and vada pav burger, a deep-fried mashed potato ball in a bun, as standout menu items.

The Beacon | Altrincham
Formerly known as Pi Bar before its closure in November, the beloved bar is being reopened and renamed The Beacon. Chris Bardsley and Will Brown worked for five years at the bar before setting up their independent bottle shop, Batch. The Beacons name is an ode to the olde English connections to Batch, linking The Beacon to the bottle shop. Stop by here for a cosy pub with great beer and music.

Parla | Northern Quarter
Vegan pizza parlour Purezza, which recently opened two years ago, has recently gotten an upgrade by adding a small bar under the restaurant. The bar will be serving an all-vegan cocktail menu while collaborating with Desert Island Dumplings on a food menu. The bar’s name Parla meaning ‘speaks’ in Italian sets the tone of the bar as an Italian inspired speakeasy.
