As the days are getting longer, there’s more time to have some post-winter fun! JLife has picked out a few highlights to give you a taste of what you can expect this month near you.

We Got Annie!
The favourite family musical, Annie, has taken to the stage at Manchester Opera House for a two week run until 16th February 2019. Sing-along to the popular musical theatre hits including its The Hard-Knock Life, I Don’t Need Anything But You and Tomorrow whilst sitting on the edge of your seat as Miss Hannigan intervenes with her evil schemes.

Happy New Year!
Immerse yourself in the colourful cultural highlight, as Manchester’s city centre celebrates Chinese New Year over four days of exciting festivities. Decked out in full splendour, catch a glimpse of the golden dragon in Exchange Square (7th–10th February), spot thousands of red lanterns in the city’s trees and follow the legendary dragon parade to the firework finale (10th February).
