Beatrice’s journey into dentistry began in Spain, where she graduated in 2006 from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid: “I always had an interest in healthcare, science, and art, and dentistry seemed like the perfect combination of both,” she says. After completing her degree, she went on to earn a master’s in Paedodontics with a deep understanding of Orthodontics,, which she describes as an “intense but rewarding” experience. “It was a two-year full-time master’s degree, and it was during that time that I truly realised how much I loved the artistic side of dentistry.”
In 2008, Beatrice moved to the UK and began practising general dentistry: “I started out working in general dentistry, just getting experience and settling into the UK,” she explains. However, as time went on, Beatrice realised that her true passion lay in aesthetic restorative dentistry. “The artistic side of dentistry really called to me, and I began to focus more on enhancing smiles in a way that was not only beautiful but also functional and healthy.” Her work in aesthetic dentistry gained attention from her peers, and soon she found herself taking on more complex cases. Beatrice further specialised in restorative aesthetic dentistry by undertaking postgraduate studies, including a stint at a highly respected cosmetic practice in the UK. “Joining that practice was a turning point in my career,” she says. “It gave me the opportunity to dive deeper into restorative aesthetics, and I’ve never looked back.”

For Beatrice, the most rewarding part of her job is seeing how her work affects her patients’ lives beyond their dental health: “There is something incredibly fulfilling about seeing a patient’s transformation, not just in their smile but in their confidence,” she says. “When patients feel better about their smiles, it can change their whole outlook on life. I take the time to explain everything to them and make sure they understand the process. My aim is to help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.”
Beatrice is particularly passionate about the emotional benefits of smile transformations. “I’ve had patients who were self-conscious about their smiles for years, and after treatment, they feel like a new person,” she says. “It’s not just about looking good, it’s about giving people the confidence to be themselves, to feel better about who they are, and to live their lives more fully.”
