Keep the kids busy during the school break with our choice of fun family-friendly visits on offer through the Easter half term.

Tropical World

Overlooking Roundhay Park’s picturesque Canal Gardens, Tropical World’s abundance of wild habitats and species is a main attraction for families to explore during Easter. Journeying through several climate-controlled glass houses containing swamps, desert environments, and aquariums, visitors will encounter crocodiles, meerkats, and exotic ocean life, learning about some of the world’s most diverse ecosystems along the way.

Harlow Carr

Nestled in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, there is a wealth of growing landscapes, woodland, and wildflower meadows for families to explore in Harlow Carr. Giant painted eggs will be hidden around the RHS garden trails for children and adults to hunt down this Easter with tasty treats to take home. Educational areas including the Teaching Garden and Bramall Learning Centre also offer children hands-on activities which teach the values of plants and gardening.
