National Football Museum
Visitors of all ages can kick off their Easter holiday in the National Football Museum and delve into the culture and social history of the country’ best-loved sport. A range of family friendly trails are on offer, with clues to solve and some of football’s top treasures to discover across the museum’s four floors of galleries and exhibitions. Children can also test their skills and compete against each other with penalty shootout and commentary box activities before capturing their glory with a photograph next to the Premier League trophy.

Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World
Adapted from the bestselling picture book by suffragette descendent Kate Pankhurst, this empowering new stage show from celebrated dramatist Chris Bush and number one hit songwriter Miranda Cooper will make its world premiere in the Lowry Theatre this Easter. Following the adventures of inquisitive school student Jade, the show’s heroine will meet some of history’s most iconic women, who take to the stage to share their stories and achievements with young audiences.

Science and Industry Museum
With a multimillion-pound restoration due
to finish this spring, the Science and Industry Museum will be open every day during the Easter holidays, as opposed to its usual Wednesday to Sunday opening times. The museum has a full roster of galleries, events, and exhibitions for children of all ages to enjoy. Latest attractions include the Revolution Manchester show, where visitors can learn about the city’s rich legacy of innovations, and the Planting Stories display in the rooftop garden representing the city’s imported goods.

RHS Garden Bridgewater
Families have 154 acres to explore at the former site of Worsley Hall which is now one of the largest gardening projects in Europe. Giant Easter eggs will be hidden across the landscape of the RHS Garden for children to hunt during the holidays, while the garden’s adventure playground made from the heritage site’s reclaimed timber will also inspire some outdoor fun. Educational areas including the Peel Learning Garden also offer children hands-on activities which teach the values of plants and gardening.

Jurassic Live
Delivered by a team of professional actors and an award-winning props department, Jurassic Live ensures a roaring good time for the whole family. Performing for two evenings at Wythenshawe Forum, the action-packed production follows a team of rangers on the hunt for the dinosaurs of the Jurassic era. Audiences will meet and greet realistic animatronic species including a triceratops, velociraptor, and the iconic T-rex for an exciting and educational experience.
