Homeless Street Angels’ charity single smashed the £11,000 mark in sales.

To raise funds for those living on the streets the Chapel Allerton-based charity Homeless Street Angels created a charity single. The song was put together with the help of musical director Mark Walker
who has worked with West Life, Will Young, The Jacksons, and Simply Red. The single features vocals by Jonathan Ansell from G4 and Claire Brooke. There are Angels on Earth is not only an appropriate message for the charity but is accompanied by a heartwarming video which shows the team at work and the recording of the single.

The single has been a huge success since its release and has managed to raise £11,000 for the charity, which was set up by sisters Becky and Shelley Joyce six years ago, following the death of their beloved sister Abi who had suffered difficult times and died at the age of 39. It began with one single outreach at Christmas and now has a core team of 50 volunteers which means than 6,000 hot meals have been handed out and 8,500 household items have been sourced and delivered to those who have found homes.
