Homeless Street Angels celebrated the opening of its new support centre with an Open Day on 29th November.
On 29th November Homeless Street Angels proudly opened the doors to Abi House, its new support centre located at 6 Sheepscar Court, Northside Business Park, Leeds, LS7 2BB. The Open Day had run from 12PM to 4PM, and everyone is invited to celebrate this significant milestone in the charity’s journey.
After seven years of tireless fundraising efforts, the dream of establishing a dedicated support centre has finally become a reality. The team at Homeless Street Angels have gone above and beyond to raise funds, engaging in activities ranging from jumping out of planes and swimming with sharks to tackling the world’s longest zipline and even wing walking. They even released a Christmas single, showcasing their commitment and creativity in supporting their mission.
This Open Day is not just a celebration of the new facility; it is also a heartfelt opportunity to thank the many donors and supporters who have contributed to making Abi House possible. The support received has been invaluable, and the organisation is eager to share the impact of these contributions with the community.
Visitors ran the chance to tour the new centre, meet the dedicated team, and learn about the vital services that will be offered to those experiencing homelessness in Leeds. The welcoming environment of Abi House is designed to provide essential support and resources, helping individuals on their path to stability and independence.
