On 2nd September, the 30th Annual AM-AM Caring for Children Golf Day will take place at Moor Allerton Golf Club to raise money for charity. The AM-AM Golf Day Committee, led by David Share, has been working hard to organise the day and aims to raise at least £30,000 for Leeds Jewish Welfare Board (LJWB): “It is a privilege to have been involved in the organisation of the Annual AM-AM Golf Day, said David. “In our 30th anniversary year we are delighted to have already received so much wonderful support. We hope that we can raise even more for LJWB’s children and family services; a cause which is so important to all the committee and our wider community.”
LJWB provides support and activities to all children and parents in the community with the belief every child should feel included regardless of their needs. Children with special education needs and disabilities have access to specialist counselling, sensory activities and one to one and family support. Young families through the extensive activity programme can access sessions including baby massage, baby yoga and baby bubbles and challah bake and play sessions.
