Langdon has announced the appointment of a new Jewish ethos manager.
Shoshana Bloom has joined Langdon, the Manchester-based specialist learning disabilities charity, in the new role of Jewish ethos manager.
Shoshana will be working with Langdon’s members and its staff in its Prestwich Supported Living community to enhance the charity’s Jewish ethos. She will also help facilitate a range of new ways for Langdon members to engage in their Judaism according to their individual interests, while also identifying opportunities for them to increase their involvement with, and access to, the wider Jewish community.
Shoshana’s experience includes co-chairing Limmud Conference, founding Limmud L’am, its programme created for participants with learning disabilities and additional needs, and being a member of the Limmud UK Executive with a focus on adults with learning and developmental disabilities, as well as working for UJIA.
