The Jewish Learning Institute of Leeds, alongside 400 other institutions, will participate in an Outsmarting Antisemitism course. The course, run in collaboration with Community Security Trust and Campaign Against Antisemitism, will provide education about positive steps which can be taken to beat antisemitism.
Leader of the course, Rabbi Eli Pink, said: “When we hear the word ‘antisemitism’, nothing positive comes to mind, but it’s time to change that narrative. Jewish people are known to be smart – we make up more than 20% of Nobel Prize winners – and anti-Semites are essentially bullies. We have survived bullying for millennia, and now it’s time to get smart.”
