Share Jewellers co-founders David and Richard Share have pledged their continued support to local homeless charity, Homeless Street Angels. Becky Joyce, who co-founded the organisation with her twin sister Shelley, said: “We have known the Share brothers quite a while now. They have regularly supported us with donations and clothes and have now decided to get more involved and we would like to thank them for their generosity.”
As well as gifting the charity a cheque for £150, the brothers have offered to accompany the team on an outreach evening to help the homeless through a long winter out on the streets.
Richard Share, co-founder of the popular Street Lane jewellers and giftware retailer, said: “We wanted to support this fantastic charity, particularly at such a difficult time. Becky and Shelley do the most amazing job and we wanted to do our bit to support them. When social distancing regulations permit, we look forward to helping them hand out vital provisions.”
Share Jewellers are leading by example, as the local Jewish community is becoming increasingly involved with the charity: “We are so grateful as more and more local businesses are getting involved and it feels like the community is coming together”, continued Shelley. “Without these donations, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.”
