Pamper yourself in one of Leeds’ eco- conscious hair salons taking valuable steps to trimming their carbon footprint.
Balancing green initiatives with a luxurious range of hair services, some of Leeds’ local hairdressers accredited by the Green Salon Collective (GCS) are well worth the visit when preparing to tie the knot or looking for a special Mother’s Day treat.
With an inclusive approach to diversity and the wider community, each GCS member also adds value to all wasted material including hair cuttings, aluminium foils, colour tubes, chemicals, and plastic packaging.
Transformed into something new, these recycled materials have helped to create clean energy, fertilise farms, and even absorb oil from waterways to save wildlife, while GCS profits are also going toward some leading UK charities including Haircuts4Homeless and FoodCycle.
