This London pizzeria is moving to the North with the promise of transporting its guests to the south of Italy. The restaurant got its name after the team took a six-week research trip (pilgrimage) around Italy to perfect its recipe, you can even take the pilgrimage yourself from the route on its website. Its Founder, James Elliot, is even a former Leeds local, and started his first job in an Italian restaurant in Headingley.

The UK’s first ginger beer brewery has arrived in Leeds. Tired of their being no variety of alcoholic ginger beers on the market, ginger beer fanatic Guiseppe ‘Gez’ and his wife Ele Romano founded DMC Brewery. After a stint in Wakefield, DMC Brewery now resides across two of the railway arch units to make up its HQ, brewery, and taproom.
