Leeds Jewish Welfare Board is aiming to raise £160,000 during its 2026 campaign, with all funds going towards vital mental health services for the community.
The campaign kicks off on 14th June with a special evening featuring former Leeds United Captain and brain tumour survivor Dominic
Matteo who will appear alongside his wife Jess to share their story. Guests will enjoy a fish and chip supper, with an early bird ticket price available.
On 21st June, supporters are invited to take part in the Smash Your Step Count Challenge, walking eight miles or running 13 miles around the beautiful Harewood Estate.
LJWB Chief Executive Officer Liz Bradbury said: “As mental health needs surge across the UK, our community is facing a moment that demands compassion, solidarity, and action. Every pound donated strengthens the safety net that any one of us may one day rely on. By coming together as a community, we can ensure that support is there when it matters most.”
