The 17th annual PhysCap five-a-side football challenge is just around the corner.
The 17th annual PhysCap five-a-side football challenge will this year be kicking off on 19th July at The Grammar School at Leeds (GSAL) — and the event is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
During the full day of activities, a powerchair demonstration tournament with Leeds PFC will be taking place, as well as a Catalan kid’s Spanish football skills workshop for young ones aged seven to 10. Howard Webb, Jonathan Moss, and Bobby Madley will also be appearing as referees.
Adding to the excitement is a fun day that will be running alongside the tournament, featuring an inflatable assault course, face painting, and celebrity photograph and autograph opportunities.
Corporate teams are welcome to participate, while a wide range of sponsorship packages are available.
PhysCap is a Yorkshire-based charity run completely by volunteers and dedicated to improving the quality of life for children suffering from severe physical and mental disabilities. The funds raised from the tournament will help provide families with equipment such as electric buggies and adapted treadmills.
