LJWB prides itself on having a bank of 250 volunteers that it can call on to help with various activities and tasks. Join its amazing team change both your life and the lives of others. Volunteers are central to the work and purpose of LJWB. Their contributions are highly valued and have a direct impact on the work of the organisation.
Could you help with any of the following roles?
Activity Support Volunteer (Board Games Host) – Host a session of board games at the MAZCC between 10am to 12pm every Wednesday.
Charity Shop Volunteers – Volunteers are needed to help both on the shop floor and to prepare the stock for sale.
Befrienders – Can you spare an hour each week or fortnightly to meet someone for a coffee or visit them in their home?
Training and support will be given and a DBS check is essential, though the volunteer team will arrange this.
